FREE SHOW IN ORANGE COUNTY! 9/24

Update...

What's up friends, just a quick update as to what's been going on lately. We are getting ready to release our Debut EP "Look Alive People" October 13 on Itunes along with some other online stores. Right now we have a free download on our site at www.wakeuplucid.com - we have also uploaded 3 new tracks from the upcoming EP on our myspace ( www.myspace.com/wakeuplucid ) as well as our facebook ( www.facebook.com/wakeuplucid )

Go get the download and check out those other tracks too, more songs will be coming soon along with more shows. As of right now we have shows at: 9/24 at the Gypsy Den (OC), 10/2 at The Frog and Peach (San Louis Obispo) 11/23 at Silverlake Lounge (LA)

We are looking forward to a busy fall/winter and want to play as much as possible, if you want us to come to your town or have a venue you would like us to play at, let us know and we will try and make it happen.

Old Grand Dad stopped by for an impromptu writing collaboration on  Friday night and the results are 20 steps ahead of sub par.  That's what happens... Clean out your ears, they'll thank you once the new tracks drop.

Allright this thing has finally come to an end, and we WON! We'd like to thank everyone for voting and also our friend Chris Temme who was the one that heard about the contest and called us up and said we should enter.

Hope to see you in Austin at SXSW and until then keep checking back for new shows! We are going to be at Silverlake Lounge May 7th and we are also getting in the studio in May to get this new EP out.

Rolling Stone and rocking the vote! literally!

Ahh, we welcome weeks like this... When you live on coffee and beer so that you can get by. It's all exciting though. Its called the 'Your Band Here' contest and if we win we get to play the UO showcase at next year's SXSW in Austin, which means we'll need more amps because as you all know everything is bigger in Texas.
